LODGING POLICIES
SECTION A – Guest Acknowledgment
Riviera Motel is a privately owned property, and every guest reservation is important to us. If your travel plans change, please notify us at least 3 days prior to your arrival to cancel your reservation.
If you cancel with less than 3 days’ notice, shorten your stay, fail to show up, or check out early, you will be responsible for the full cost of your reservation.
Rates & Policies
- Rates and policies may change during peak seasons and special request periods.
- Check-in: 3:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Check-out: 10:30 AM
- Late check-out past 10:30 AM will result in an additional night’s charge.
Payment & Reservation Holding
- Your credit card is only used to hold your reservation—no charges will be made before check-in.
Special Requests
- Special requests are not guaranteed and are subject to room availability. If a suitable room is available upon arrival, we will accommodate your request accordingly.
Guest Responsibilities
By booking a stay at Riviera Motel, you agree to comply with:
- All house rules, policies, and disclaimers.
- Any reasonable instructions from motel staff.
- Local laws and regulations during your stay.
Lost & Left-Behind Items
Riviera Motel is not responsible for lost or forgotten items. Guests are responsible for the safety of their belongings at all times.
SECTION B – Property Policies
Smoking Policy
- Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors.
- If evidence of smoking is found inside the room (including strong odors), a $200 cleaning fee will be charged.
- Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
Pet Policy
- No pets allowed.
- If a pet is found in the room, a $200 cleaning fee will be applied.
Bicycle Policy
- Bicycles are not allowed inside rooms.
- Any damage or stains caused by a bicycle inside a room will result in a $200 cleaning/repair fee.
Damage & Stain Policy
- Guests are responsible for any damage or stains found in the room.
- A $200 fee will be charged for excessive cleaning or repairs due to:
- Marks, dents, or scratches on walls, doors, or furniture.
- Stains from food, beverages, or other substances.
- Do not squash or smear insects on walls, furniture, or surfaces.
Liability Policy
- Riviera Motel is not liable for any accidents or injuries that occur on the premises.
Room Key Return Policy
- Please return your room key to the front desk or use the designated dropbox near the lobby entrance.
- Unreturned keys will incur a $35 replacement fee per key.
Closed for the 2025 Season
We are currently closed for the season.
Reservations will open on March 1st 2026 on our website.
