For years Mackinaw City has had this contest of guessing when the fountain in front of city hall will melt. The contest is not being done this year. But I thought you might like to take a look at the frozen fountain and practice guessing for next years’ contest. This fountain was taller than city hall when I took the picture in February. The fountain is usually still there when we return to Mackinaw around the 18th of April. Take a look. I’ll try to find out the exact moment it melts and let you know.
