A Footnote

You probably won’t believe this, but Santa showed up for the tractor parade and yes, he was driving a John Deere. I guess even Santa is feeling the pinch of the recession because his “Deere” is for sale.

That’s how many tractors were in this years Antique Tractor Show.There were tractors of every color-orange, red, green, cream, blue and yellow. There were Farmall, John Deere, Ford, Allis Chalmers, Case, Oliver, and Minneapolis Moline just to name a few. There were tractors of every size driven by men and women. Stormy Weather

Over the last few weeks, we have experienced very high winds and a lot of rain. One storm that hit in the early morning hours of August 19th dumped almost five inches of rain in a three hour period. Labor Day 2010

Labor Day morning was dark and a light mist was falling. This was the first time in our 12 years that Labor Day morning was wet. I always look forward to taking pictures of the sunrise.
