Snowy Mackinaw Day

The snow was coming down and the wind was blowing out of the northwest. I went down under the bridge and snapped some pictures. It was f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g on the beach! Yet it was so peaceful. Phil The Groundhog Was Right!

Winter In Mackinaw

This is not a normal winter season in Mackinaw. There was less than a foot of snow on the ground and it was a sunny, blue sky,15 degree day. ..for the first two days. The kind people at Sheplers’ Ferry invited us to take pictures from their dock.
