Morning Has Broken

It is 6:10 a.m. I walked outside to take pictures of the morning sunrise for you. The air is calm and crisp like autumn. The deep peachy hues of sunrise are just beginning to break across the sky. A freighter is slipping quietly under the bridge.Take a glimpse and enjoy the morning with me.  <      

A Piece Of History?

While walking on the beach of Lake Michigan, I spotted this chunk of cement. The wording on this chunk made me wonder if it had anything to do with the building of the Mackinac Bridge. What are your thoughts? 

August Sunset on Lake Michigan

The mid August evening was breezy and cool. I went for a drive by McGulpin Point Lighthouse and decided to drive onto the beach of Lake Michigan.The sunset was beautiful and I promised you that when I saw a beautiful sunset I’d post it. So here it is. I hope you enjoy it!

The Laundry Room Visitor

We leave the laundry room door open to make it easier to bring in the laundry. I was standing hip high in laundry yesterday, when I caught some movement in the doorway.
