Memorial weekend was absolutely beautiful here…blue skies and sun. Wednesday, May 23, 2007 What a beautiful day! The temperature is in the low 80’s with a stiff, warm breeze. Today the Mackinac Point Lighthouse renovations are nearing completion. The lighthouse is 30 feet to our west and is part of Colonial Fort Michilimackinac Park. You may tour the lighhouse and climb to the top of the tower that once held the fresnel lens.
