This is not a normal winter season in Mackinaw. There was less than a foot of snow on the ground and it was a sunny, blue sky,15 degree day. ..for the first two days. The kind people at Sheplers’ Ferry invited us to take pictures from their dock. It was an incredible view of frozen waves.Imagine the fury of the waves and the frigid temperatures that must have occurred to make this magnificent sight. I hope you enjoy this view from your nice warm home!
