If you have never visited Old Mill Creek, I would highly recommend that you do.Old Mill Creek is a water power saw mill that dates back to the late 1700’s. Reenactors, dressed in period costumes, depict life running a saw mill operation. We enjoyed the demonstration of the water powered saw and volunteers are asked to help with the two man hand saw. There are nature trails, rock climbing walls and of course the zip line. One can enjoy all the wild flowers along marked paths and there is also an area that shows you the creatures of the forest. It is an awesome place to spend some time. Oh, just to give you a heads up…the screams you sometimes hear are not from wild animals. They are from people enjoying the zip line!

The views along the trails are beautiful. Along the way there all kinds of wild flowers to enjoy. We even saw an Indigo Bunting! This gorgeous turquoise bird was sitting in an apple tree that was in full bloom.
